New Publix Opening in Largest Developments Lake Norman Has Seen in Decades

Publix at The Village at Sherrills Ford has just announced the grand opening of their new grocery store later this month as part of one of the largest developments Lake Norman has seen in decades. Developers are also almost finished on the new 24,000 square foot Catawba Valley Medical building.

According to their website, “The Village at Sherrills Ford is a mixed-use project consisted of 206 acres on the shoreline of Lake Norman. The site has over 5,000 feet of frontage on Hwy 150 West and the red light intersection of Slanting Bridge Road.”

The Village’ will consist of tens of thousands of square feet of commercial space and at least 775 single family and apartment homes. The entire project will soon become the largest residential/commercial development in Catawba County since 2006.

Prestige Corporate Development,LLC spokesman Shawn Mahoney said that they are in the midst of construction mode. “Right now trying to landscape, get signage up and watch as Road widening of Hwy 150 with turn lanes and a new red light being installed at the new Village Center Drive is completed in Sherrills Ford, NC Real Estate. We also want buyers to know parcels are still available for purchase but supply will not last long at the current rate of interest.

They welcome Banks, Restaurants and Office Medical users to choose to help anchor our development.
